the pairing, explained properly
Most Solana tokens trade against SOL. stonkfun lets a launch pick its quote asset, and $HATCH picks $OPENAI PreStocks: a token that tracks OpenAI's private-market valuation through tokenized pre-IPO exposure.
To be precise about what that is and is not: OpenAI has no public stock. PreStocks issues tokens backed by exposure to secondary shares of private companies. $OPENAI is such a token, not equity you hold directly, and we neither custody it nor promise anything about it. It is the unit our pool prices in, nothing more.
The consequence is the joke and the mechanism at once. The chart is denominated in OpenAI's valuation. Buying the pets means routing through OpenAI pre-IPO exposure. The crab community did exactly this against Anthropic's pre-IPO token in August 2026. hatch mirrors it against the other lab.
how rewards flow

There is nothing to do. No staking, no claiming windows, no activity requirements. Holding at snapshot time is the entire job.
what happens when minting ends
Mint-funded rewards are a stream that stops when the last egg sells, and pretending otherwise is how these projects usually lie. So: at sellout, the remaining pool plus trade-fee inflow becomes a fixed endowment paying out at a published daily rate until dry. The projected end date goes on this page the day the endowment starts. If trading volume keeps the fee inflow alive, the date moves back; it will never silently move forward.
