is anything live?
No. No token, no mint, no socials yet. This page exists before the token on purpose, so the mechanics are public before anyone can spend money. Any $HATCH trading today is someone else's scam.
what do I actually get?
An egg NFT on Solana. It hatches into one of five pets when a hatch event reaches it. Both states are tradeable and both collect the daily holder payout.
how are payouts paid?
Daily snapshot of all egg and pet holders, paid pro rata in $HATCH from the pool. No claiming, no staking. Details on the token page.
is it trustless?
Partly, and we will not pretend otherwise. Trustless: supply caps, the burn on every mint, the trait list locked by a published hash, liquidity locked by stonkfun. Not trustless: the hatch trigger is pressed by us when Codex news meets the published rules, and payout distribution runs on our infrastructure until it is fully on chain. Each of those is stated where it applies.
what happens when the pool runs out?
Payouts end. The pool is a capped endowment funded by mints and trade fees, with its projected end date published from day one. No forever-yield is implied, because forever-yield is always a lie.
why 8 per wallet?
To spread the mint across more holders and keep any one wallet from owning the reveal. It counts mints for life; selling does not reset it. Secondary buying is unlimited.
can I pick when my egg hatches?
No. Hatch events fire on Codex news and open the oldest 400 unhatched eggs in mint order. OpenAI's shipping schedule is the reveal schedule.
